The heritage name at New Zealand's most famous left-hand point. If your trip is specifically about Raglan and day lessons there, they are the local institution. No overnight camps or accommodation packages; it is lessons, done with decades of local knowledge.

An eco retreat above Manu Bay pairing accommodation with surf packages and yoga. Suits travellers who want the Raglan lifestyle stay first and surfing woven in. Ask directly for current surf package details; their published information runs light.

Mount Surf School, Mount Maunganui

A polished operation at one of NZ's best learner beaches, with clear pricing and easy online booking. If you live in or are visiting the Bay of Plenty, start here. Everything runs as day sessions, including their holiday surf camps; no overnight camps or stays, single location.

NZ Surf Academy, Auckland + Northland

A high-volume schools and youth specialist claiming thousands of students a year. Strong for school trips in our shared regions. Consumer offerings (adults, women, stays) are not their focus, and pricing is enquiry-based rather than published.

Sky Surf Co, Far North

A small operator running girls camps and student trips around Matauri and Taupo Bay. If a boutique far-north girls program is exactly your brief, watch their announcements; departures are limited and waitlist-driven.

Waihi Beach Surf Camp, Bay of Plenty

A once-a-year multi-day camp pitched mainly at international students at a premium price point. Great beach; check the single annual date fits your calendar.

Aggregators list a handful of NZ packages, some of them ours. Booking direct with any operator on this list gets you the same or better price and a human who answers the phone.
