Six days at Moirs Point, two surf lessons a day, a Thursday surf comp and zero devices. The week your kid will talk about all year.

Phones go in the office and the week goes to surfing, beach games, water slides and actual conversations. Parents and caregivers get daily email updates and an online photo album through the week, so you see the grins without the group chat, and a free photo package comes home with every camper. Instructors are ISA qualified, first aid trained and police checked, with more than 14 paid staff on camp and target water ratios of 1:6.
First-timers and repeat campers split into ability groups, so the kid on wave one and the kid chasing the Thursday comp trophy both get their week.

What ages can come?
8 to 15. All sleeping cabins are grouped by similar age and same gender, and activity squads are grouped by similar ages with mixed genders. Teens 13 to 18 can pick Youth Surf Camp at Te Arai instead.
My kid has never surfed. Fine?
Perfect, most campers start that way. Two lessons a day means beginners are riding whitewater on day one and paddling for green waves by the comp.
What is included in the $1095?
Five nights at Moirs Point, Mangawhai, all meals, and two coached surf lessons a day at Te Arai and Mangawhai with boards and wetsuits. Day and evening activities like the waterslide, confidence course, burma trail, campfire and movie nights. Plus the fun Thursday surf comp, a free photo package and daily email updates home.
What is the device policy?
No phones or electronic devices. The week goes to surfing, beach games and actual conversations. Parents and caregivers see the grins through daily email updates and the online photo album.
How much supervision is there?
More than 14 paid staff on camp, including an Operations Manager, dedicated Camp Managers, grom squad leaders, commercial caterers and ISA qualified, first aid trained, police checked instructors, with target water ratios of no more than 1:6, under Qualmark GOLD systems since 2002.
How do campers get there?
Free bus transfers from Remuera and Albany, drop off at camp, or add $100 for return Auckland Airport transfers; camp works from anywhere in NZ. Choose your transfer option when booking.
What should they pack?
Enough clothes for six days of the best week of their life, togs, towels and a sleeping bag or blanket. Boards and wetsuits are ours; their own are welcome too.
What is the cancellation policy?
