What is included?
Your own ISA qualified coach, board and wetsuit included, at Te Arai, Orewa or Christchurch. From $99 per person: we charge $199 for 1 or 2 people, with options to add extra surfers.
How long is a session?
90 minutes of undivided coaching, which is plenty: private attention is intense, and most people improve more in one session than in a month of figuring it out alone.
Who suits a private lesson?
Kids from age 4, nervous first timers, and intermediates chasing specific fixes. If you can name the thing you want to improve, this is the format that improves it.
Can we bring more than two?
Yes. Extra surfers can be added at booking, and the coach keeps the session tailored to everyone in it.
What will we work on?
Whatever you name. First stand, paddle fitness, positioning, reading waves or fixing a stubborn habit; the coach builds the session around your goal.
Which beaches and times?
Te Arai, Orewa and Christchurch's Sumner, with flexible times set around the tides. Pick your slot online with live availability.
